The Marburg Residents’ and Ratepayers Association recently hosted a community meeting to discuss service delivery issues affecting the Marburg area.
Residents came out in numbers to express their displeasure when it comes to service delivery at the meeting held at the Marburg Community Policing Forum (CPF) Community Centre.
The Speaker of the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality Council, Phumlani Gumbi, was in attendance along with Fathima Moosa of the Marburg Residents’ Ratepayers Association.
Most of the residents raised concerns on the conditions of the roads, unkept vegetation, power outages, and more.
Gumbi, the Speaker of Ray Nkonyeni said the municipality is in the process of addressing these challenges.
